QITS RFID solution TOI TRACK was nominated for the BestPractice IT Award 2007

QITS GmbH IT-services - Ratingen, 01.03.2007, the RFID Branchenlsung TOI TRACK of the QITS GmbH was nominated for the BestPractice IT Award 2007.

TOI TRACK is a RFID supported system for the collection of service activities with the list, maintenance and cleaning of transportable, connection-free toilet cabs. The QITS GmbH developed TOI TRACKs for the customer ADCO of environmental services GmbH. ADCO operates 52 companies in 26 countries, under it 12 independent subsidiaries with 90 further business premises in Germany. More than 400 special vehicles are to these business premises at the disposal, which furnish their service for more than 60,000 mobile sanitary units (TOI TOI & DIXI).

TOI TRACK replaces the service manual of the driver by to mobiles collection equipment (MDE). Firmly installed water resistant and vandalismussichere RFID transponders contain all information about the associated toilet cab. The planning data of the respective daily route is made available electronically by the route leader. The driver seizes the cab number over the RFID day and notes the accomplished service activities. The data are conveyed to the central ERP system. Thus all relevant performance data of the service coworkers as well as the assigned cabs are to the administration dailyexactly at the disposal. The logging of all operational sequences is certified and also with controversies before court recognized according to ISO.

Before the introduction of TOI TRACKs in the year 2000 the volume of over 200.000 customer orders with approximately five million supply or cleaning procedures led annually to a substantial expenditure of time when providing, sorting, filling out and seizing the service procedures. The error-prone manual procedure was completely replaced by TOI TRACKs. QITS could reduce the process costs with TOI TRACKs over up to 70%. The customer complaints within the service range were significantly reduced. Further inquiries are clarified now very fast on-line and fair trading credit notes are not necessary in many cases any longer. The ROI von TOI TRACK was already reached after one year.

Multi-animal architecture developed by QITS Solutions is based on Windows CE 5,0 for the programs of the mobile collection devices and on Oracle for the central application parts. For the integration into the ERP system an internal CROSS integrator was used.

In the next stage of development of TOI TRACKs it is possible to make by means of government inspection department also the geo coding of places of work and seize vehicle specifications automatically.
